THE PARLOR

THE DINING ROOM

COMMON AREAS: Our Historic home is a comfortable and inviting Cape Cod vacation getaway. Whether for one night or an extended stay, we encourage you to make our home, yours.

The bright guest parlor on the first floor, offers comfortable seating with views of the property’s beautiful trees and landscaping. The original wood floor, high ceilings, bay windows, local photography hanging from picture rails, along with the antique and collectible furnishing offer an inviting atmosphere where there is always something to look at. As one guest commented “One of the outstanding things about this bed and breakfast was the attention to detail paid by the owners. The decor of the whole house was lovely, with many local touches -- you could tell that many of the furnishings, dishes, etc. were made by local artisans.”

A variety of games, a library for borrowing or exchanging books, videos for borrowing, a binder of local restaurant menus, and WiFi are all provided.

The gardens offer several different areas for sitting and enjoying the day. Pick a quiet spot in a rocking chair among the trees in the back for reading, writing or simply relaxing. Or, sit in the front with the flowers and watch the world go by on our quiet street.

BREAKFAST: Our professionally trained chef/ owner prepares exceptional homemade delicacies every morning between 9:00 am and 10:00 am using only the freshest local ingredients (most of which are grown in our garden). If you're leaving earlier to enjoy the day or catch the ferry, your "breakfast-to-go" bag with fruit, muffin and coffee will be on the table, ready for you!

Samples of breakfast include a first course of handmade marscarpone seasonal berry tarts with passion fruit creme anglaise; apple gallettes with house caramel sauce; or fresh berry coffee cakes; main course can include Bananas Foster French Toast with 100% pure maple syrup(when available); apple cranberry Belgium waffles with hand whipped cream; house made sausage and garden vegetable crepes with pesto cream; Chatham farm fresh eggs Benedict with lyonnaise potato; or local Lobster frittata with Pommes Anna. Guests often run back to their rooms for their camera before they dig in!

Breakfast is always served on local hand made pottery and accompanied by 100% organic, locally roasted, fair trade fresh ground gourmet coffee & daily hand squeezed orange juice.

"The location was fantastic too and allowed us easy access to all of the hotspots on the Cape. We loved this place and think you will too!"
